The following points are universal. Here's my advice for relationship bliss:

Be clean, and keep your house clean. Dirt, disarray, and disorganization will cause problems with ALL of your relationships. You can't manage your life, if you don't know what you've got. And, dirt makes everything appear to be of less value. Presentation is everything, and that applies to everything.

Make sure your bedroom is a pleasant place to be. Sex is no good, when it takes place in a yucky environment.

Be careful what you say (or more importantly, how you say it) in the bedroom. Sex is a very sensitive area, as are intimacy, nakedness and sexual technique. Don't say negative things, or complain. Be gentle in your comments and suggestions. A little bit of subtlety can go a long way.

Always keep separate bank accounts. If you need a joint account, keep a separate one, too.

Remember to be positive. Be someone that YOU would like to hang out with. Make sure your home and the experiences that take place there, are positive. Be lovable. Be nurturing. Be supportive. You reap what you sow.

Being a good friend takes effort.

Never pass up an opportunity to keep your mouth SHUT.
